MY FATHER'S HOUSE: a Memoir of Incest and of Healing

Over twenty years ago, I wrote the book "My Father's House: a Memoir of Incest and of Healing" - one of the first books to break the silence on this taboo subject.  The response was overwhelming, not only from other survivors of abuse who were able to identify with my story, but also from therapists who were ill-prepared to deal with the suffering and confusion of so many other abuse victims suddenly finding their voices.  Now, with the power and reach of the new social media, I find that a whole new wave of abuse survivors have been contacting me. In response, I decided to make "My Father's House" available through Kindle, and to set up this forum to discuss some of the issues that I have encountered through the years, both from my own experience and from the shared experiences of others.  

I will attempt to post regularly on matters of mutual interest, and I hope to hear from you.
